ABOUT US
Millworks 58 was founded in 2004 by the husband and wife duo of Alex Hassman and Suzy Samardich. Both moved to Big Sky after college in the 90’s in pursuit of a mountain lifestyle. Alex worked on ski patrol and Suzy owned and operated the SunDog Cafe. The company’s name comes from their 1958 Chevy Apache 4x4 pickup truck. A small but mighty company, Millworks 58 maintains an eclectic workforce of a few employees and a skilled group of subcontractors, each of them excelling in their field and bringing their expertise to every project.
Alex and Suzy value the relationships they form with their clients and take pride in bringing their projects to fruition. The couple still holds true to their original purpose, create a lifestyle and then an occupation that supports that. From biking and floating rivers in the summer to Nordic, alpine, and backcountry skiing in the winter, Alex and Suzy value their mountain lifestyle and owning their own company.
